Standard mid-life cliche, but over the last 10-15 years I have got into exercise more and more. We can't all be Peter Pan.

After playing a lot of sport at school and college, then a little at university, there was a dry patch.

5-a-side helped a bit, but it was only after coming back from Bermuda and starting running & boxing that I was able to get back into it, and keep the middle age spread/"Dad-bod" at bay.

Training In London

Early morning runs through East London with my younger brother have stepped up to regular half marathons - no records are at risk of being broken, Mo is safe, but it's not a bad hobby to have. It could be cycling in Lycra.

The first one turned out to be an endurance cliff race and was probably not the best idea, but ultimately enjoyable.

Since then we have run through London, Southend, St Albans and Ealing, not necessarily in that order.

In January of 2019 our cousin, Olivia Griffiths, succumbed to cancer that she had been fighting valiantly for years - we dedicate every run to her. "OG Track Club".

Final run before relocating is this Sunday, in Windsor Great Park, with the Queen watching from her bedroom. Probably.

Thinking of you cous.

Olivia Funeral

Through rain and flu we soldiered through - lots of hills, one of the toughest we have done, but with an amazing backdrop.

Sounds a bit naive given that it belongs to The Queen, but Windsor is beautiful and huge, and the castle is pretty impressive.

Official time 1.55 something, which we are very happy with!

2,000 + calories burnt, hastily replaced at The Boatman, the only "pub" on the river in Windsor, then lots of napping & recovering done pre work on Monday.
